Celebrating Juneteenth: Let’s Keep the Party Going

Three sticky notes with the words "past," "now," and "future."

This month on Real Conversations from the C-Suite, I was joined by a very special guest, Ms. Tish Norman, an adjunct professor of African American studies at Kentucky State University, corporate trainer, conference speaker, and co-author of 7 leadership books.

In our first conversation with Tish we talked about the legacy of education and awareness that has been foundational to her success in corporate America.  Then, we chatted specifically about the significance of Juneteenth in American history and in the corporate space.

Next, we explored possible connections to being polished & powerful black professionals and how it might relate to resiliency down through the years.  Finally, in our last conversation with Tish we focused on transitioning from celebrating Juneteenth to July 4th and what it means for all Americans.

Trust me when I tell you that this is a series of Real Conversations from the C-suite you don’t want to miss!

I invite you every Thursday this month to join the rebroadcast of my Real Conversations from the C-Suite series with Tish Norman. Together, we'll tackle DEI challenges head-on and explore innovative strategies for fostering inclusive cultures.
