Empowering Diversity in the Toy Industry: A Conversation for Women's History Month

As we commemorate Women's History Month this March, it's a fitting time to spotlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the toy industry. In a recent Real Conversation from the C-Suite with Azhelle Wade, also known as The Toy Coach, we discussed the role of women, particularly women of color, in shaping the toy industry.

Azhelle shared her experiences navigating both corporate and entrepreneurial roles within the toy industry, shedding light on the challenges and opportunities faced by women, especially women of color. Her insights underscore the importance of creating inclusive spaces where diverse voices are valued and celebrated.

Furthermore, Azhelle highlighted the impact of representation in toys, especially for young girls. By ensuring diversity in toy design and marketing, we empower girls to see themselves reflected in the toys they play with and inspire them to pursue their dreams without limitations.
